ALIZÉE GAZEAU
VISITE D'ATELIER

Alizée Gazeau (born in Paris in 1990) is a French artist based in Berlin.

During her studies of art history and philosophy at the Sorbonne, she laid the foundations for her artistic practice. Between 2018 and 2020 she was an artist-in-residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, the Hartung Bergman Foundation in Antibes, the Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation in Biella, the Artemis Studio in Ikaria. Alizée Gazeau has exhibited in emerging independent venues and galleries in France, Greece, Germany, Italy and Japan. In January 2023, she presented her first solo exhibition in Berlin at Gr_und, with the support of the French Institute. More recently she presents an installation as a collateral event of the Venice Biennale 2024 with the Fondazione Barovier&Toso. In 2018 she founded the Publication for a Non linear Art, each issue of which is a collective creation that brings together artists and theorists on the occasion of exhibitions and meetings. She has curated several exhibitions, notably as part of the artist-run space Interface between 2020 and 2021 in Berlin. She writes texts for artists and publications.
